Atletica Strambino
Our
Story
The Atletica Strambino was founded in December 1999 and has achieved so far flattering results in the youth sector with provincial titles, regional and convocations of our athletes in the regional representative, and participation of our athletes in the national finals individually.
The most relevant result in the first 20 years of activity came thanks to the coach Icardi Gian Vittorio who led the athlete Crosio Lorenzo to the Italian Title in the Long Jump Junior category (7.41 mt) and to the subsequent convocation for the European Championship (7.43 mt).
The training sessions take place on the 200 mt track and in the gym adjacent to elementary schools, under the guidance of the Sports Director Gian Vittorio Icardi and instructors.
Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment where athletes have a positive and meaningful experience. Track and field is a lifelong sport, and with 18 different disciplines, our teams are welcoming to all and cut no corners to ensure all athletes can participate. Our training development program is built throughout the season and reinforced in the all-important postseason. We train hard, recover, and repeat. We also focus on proper running mechanics through sprint drills and work on injury prevention through dynamic stretching and yoga. Coaches care about the health of each athlete to help them reach their personal goals.

Our core values, philosophy and goals are based on respect, continuous development, leadership, and the unhindered pursuit of excellence, discovery and unity. Each member is expected to uphold these values ​​through self-discipline, honesty, integrity, fairness, hard work, and respect for self, others, and community.
Leadership
Leadership is valued in this Track and Field Club. We take all precautionary steps to ensure those in coaching roles are leaders. We also help develop those who work with them to become leaders.

Services and Facilities
We provide the service of registration, parking information, payments and refunds, check-ins and check-outs of camps (track and field , soccer, and gym). We are personally responsible for all the facilities and services provided.
